Smart meter installation What happens if I'm not in?

What happens if your not in the day of installation? Is there a fine or do they just book another appointment if no one answers the door?

You can cancel an appointment up to 24 hours before your appointment start time, excluding weekends and bank holidays. Cancellation in this time period is free. You can then reschedule in your Bulb account.

Hello Megan thanks for that. Just curious what happens if its less than 24 hours notice, or you just forget and your stuck in Grimsby or something and cant get home? Is there a charge for missing appointments?

@martyfartpants - if you happen to forget and if its less than 24 hours notice we’d apply a £30 missed appointment charge to your account as these are chargeable jobs with the engineers- best to set a reminder on your phone to avoid being stuck in Grimsby :eyes:
