I had a smart meter installed in March and it’s never worked. Bulb have been estimating my bills ever since. Anyone else having similar issues?

I’ve had mine fitted since 10 April and I’m still submitting manual readings.

I am surprised that people are not taking the newspapers seriously on this issue. You are wasting your time having a ‘smart’ meter fitted. Reading analogue or digital meters is not rocket science. ‘Smart’ meters will NOT save anyone any money but the cost of this whole senseless project is being passed on to the customers of the utility companies who along with the manufacturers of these meters are the only people who are making a gain!
