I had smart meters for both gas and electricity installed by my last energy supplier in Setember 2018. I’ve recently signed up with Bulb and provided the initial meter readings to both Bulb and my old supplier. How do i know as to wether Bulb can actually read these? Do I need to sign up for the smart meter tariff to find out?
Log onto your bulb account and check the energy usage tab and with luck it will show readings from your smart meters (input type smart rather than customer).
It could also be youn have got a first generation which have problems switching providers (not that second generation ones are perfect either).
