Why am I still getting estimated readings when I had a smart meter connected on 27th August 2019?
I’m still having to do estimated readings and we had our smart meters installed at the beginning of May!
@Gillian1 Is that gas or electric? They are having real problems with the gas meters… I had mine installed a month ago and it’s still not been commissioned their end yet. Best bet would be continue to give readings as before for now and give them a call. When I did that, they raised a complaint on my behalf. They’ll have 8 weeks to sort the problem before I can request a ‘deadlock’ letter. I could then, if I choose, take it up with the energy Ombudsman.
The meter seems to be working OK but I can’t see any readings for gas or electricity. I had estimates for both
