For over a year I have been denied a Smart Meter because my gas meter is in a ground level box. My neighbours with identical set up have them so what is the issue for Bulb and when will it be resolved?

I’m sorry for the difficulty you’ve had booking in a smart meter exchange. At Bulb we use third parties to undertake our meter exchanges. Unfortunately, we are currently without a third party able to exchange semi-concealed gas meters to a smart meter.
However, you can still fill in this form: Bulb account and you will be offered to join our waiting list. Our Smart Rollout Team will contact you when there’s a slot available.
I do apologise for not being able to give a specific date but we are hoping that we can get these meter jobs in our portfolio soon.
