Smart Meters

I am pleased to see that Bulb are going to wait for second generation meters before starting an installation programme.

In my particular case the existing electricity and gas meters are on opposite sides of the house and our mobile signal is relatively weak. Can I be confident of a smooth installation process?

Hi @Orestan thanks for getting in touch. We’re still working out the details of installations in preparation for our second gen smart meter rollout, so I’m afraid I can’t give you any specific answers, but I can say for sure that we’re planning on making everything about the installation process and working of the meters (sending signals and so on) as smooth and simple as we possibly can for all our members.
