Smart Metre Readings

I had a smart metre fitted a couple of months ago. Now my bills are coming up as estimated? I thought the idea of a smart metre was that readings were automatically sent to the provider?

Your thoughts should be correct, but unfortunately this isn’t necessarily so. Have you read the multitude of other threads on this forum about smart meter issues?

and can we switch supplier to a more competent provider?.. nope because our meters are not working and we need an up to date read to switch, great job Bulb.

Indeed, the system does seem to be a joke and no gas and only one smart electric reading registered on my account.
