Submitting a meter reading lower than estimated

Hello,

I’m trying to fix my estimated reading with a new real one.
Apparently, I cannot submit a meter reading lower than the previous one.

Do you know how can I achieve this?

Hi @Alejandro, unfortunately at the moment this is something that Bulb have to manually do for you.

The easiest way to sort it out would be to give them a ring tomorrow (0300 30 30 635) and they’ll be able to input the new reading for you and re-calculate your last bill if required.

Hi @Alejandro , you can submit a reading even if the reading is below the estimated one.

It’s just an advisory note that you can ignore if the reading is correct, but you can always call if you would like check the reading has been loaded.

Has this recently changed? I'm sure others have mentioned being unable to do this in the past (here for example).

Yeah the change was put in place quite a few weeks ago to try and decrease the number of incorrect meter reads.
