Supporting each other during coronavirus - share your tips and advice

Hello all,

At Bulb we’re adapting to the new challenge of coronavirus, while keeping our members at the heart of everything we do. We’re working with the government, Ofgem and Citizens Advice to work out the best way for the industry as a whole to support vulnerable members right now. We’ll keep you posted with any updates.

Now more than ever is the time to come together and support each other as a community. Yesterday we posted a new help article with advice from Bulb. We’d also love to hear your thoughts and ideas on how to make the best of a tough situation. If you have any self isolating, remote working, or energy saving tips - let the community know! Our team will also be chipping in to the discussions.

We also want to give a big shout out to Covid Mutual Aid UK. They list over 900 brilliant local volunteer groups across the UK who are helping the most vulnerable in their communities. Whether you are in need of a bit of extra help, or would like to volunteer, Covid Mutual Aid UK is the place to start.

Our team is active on live chat and email, and you can still call us in an emergency on 0300 303 0635.

We look forward to hearing your tips and discussions here.

Take care,

Team Bulb

Hi I was wondering how bulb arrived helping during this time, obviously we’re all at home all the time at the minute so using more elec and gas but on less pay. Are bulb cutting charges for us all?

Hi @lindsaydaubney - We appreciate this is a challenging time. For anyone in our community, if you are worried about making payments please send us a message on live chat and email so we can look into your account and suggest some options.

We’re changing our prices very soon. We’re decreasing our gas prices and slightly increasing our electricity prices. We’ve calculated that the vast majority of our dual fuel members will see significant savings.
