Switching to direct debit and smart meter

Hello, I currently have a pre-payment meter without smart meter for gas and electric and would like to switch to direct debit with smart meter. Can you help, I’m not sure how to do it.
I’d really like to be able to track my energy usage more effectively, particularly with the looming price rises!

Thank you for posting.

You are eligible for a free smart meter installation which you can book on the bulb account. Please click here to log in and book yourself in for the next available appointment. Once our engineers install your new smart meter we can then proceed with a change of mode where we will remotely change the meter from prepay smart to credit.

We will need to adhere with a soft credit check so that we can move you over from prepay to credit. Once you have booked yourself in for an appointment can you let me know here so I can go ahead and proceed.
