The shop in my area will no longer top up my meter key and I can't get any electric

I’m really stuck as for what to do since the 2 shops in my area (both owned my the same company) told me they no longer offer electric key top ups. My meter is low it is only a couple of pounds left and the emergency £5 will last less than 24 hours.

I can’t get a smart meter fitted as it says no slots are available and I image even then there would be a long wait.

I’m disabled and very worried about being left without any heating or lights as my flat doesn’t have any gas, only electricty.

Please help.

I’m sorry to hear about the issues you’re now facing with topping up your electricity key. Do you have anyone that would be able to travel a bit further for you to top up your key?

It does sound like smart pay as you go would be best for you though. So I would advise calling us 0300 30 30 635, as we don’t want you to be left without electricity, and we’ll see if we can get an appointment booked in for you.
