Using account's credit

Hello, my account is currently in credit - how can I use the credit rather before incurring further payments and/or how can I get reimbursed? Thank you.

Hi @Shani,

The easiest way would be to log into your account at https://account.bulb.co.uk and go to ‘Payments and Statements’ and change your monthly payment down to £5 (the minimum) or similar so it starts eating away at your credit allocation.

The second easiest way would be just to ask Bulb for a credit refund - see https://help.bulb.co.uk/hc/en-us/articles/115003394031-How-can-I-withdraw-credit-from-my-account- for details (you’ll need to provide an up to date meter reading and then just drop them an email).

Thirdly, I have seen mention of ‘payment holidays’, but I’m understanding that this is an entirely manual process - so, if you want to try it and risk it, just drop Bulb an email.

@RichyB Is right, either change your payments online or ask us for a refund.

Just let us know if you want some money back and we can get it sorted as long as there is a recent meter reading :slight_smile:
