Hi there, I submitted my final meter reading on 13th May and my account says I should have had a final statement by 27th May. When can I expect the credit refund due showing on my account?
You should get the final bill within 6 weeks of leaving Bulb (https://help.bulb.co.uk/hc/en-us/articles/360016075911-How-do-I-leave-Bulb- and https://help.bulb.co.uk/hc/en-us/articles/115001245152-What-should-I-do-if-I-m-moving-out- ) - but it you’ve stayed resident and are switching to another provider, you’ve got to wait until the new provider+Bulb have agreed with the third party regulator about the opening/closing readings - this should still be within the 6 weeks though, but can sometimes take longer if there is an issue).
Once the final bill has been issued, refunds are usually processed within 10 working days (it takes around 3-4 working days for it to work its way through the banking system).
