@bertie22 We’ve sent off your first readings - they have to go via other companies that check them, and if approved, send them through to EDF who will then bill you based on the readings they get. Unfortunately, it’s a process that can take up to six weeks, although it’s usually quicker than this.
It’s also very normal that electricity & gas readings reach the previous supplier at different times (usually gas is quicker), as they go through different processes.
Its true sometimes you have to wait a while, just call them every so often to check.
