When will the system recognise I no longer have a prepayment meter?

We’ve just had a smart meter installed by Spark energy today for electricity; gas is a traditional meter supplied by Ecotricity.

On trying to sign up to Bulb, it states that my property still has a prepayment meter so cannot continue with the sign up.

Could you advise how long it will take for the change in meter to be acknowledged?

I’m currently awaiting my final bill and credit from my previous home (and the money would come in handy!) and keen to get back to Bulb.

@julie8666 this can happen very quickly in some cases, in others it can take a few weeks. <- annoying answer I know. I’ll send you an email when it’s happened :slight_smile:
