Why has my rate and standing charge increased without me being notified?

I understand that prices are rising, however I have just checked my last statement and compared to the tariff rate in my account to find that they do not match, after noticing that my smart meter was showing higher daily costs than usual.

I have not been contacted about the raise, am I not supposed to be contacted before this happens? I’ve received notices in the past, but nothing regarding this change.

So the tariff rates in your Bulb account won’t match what’s on the statement because your statements don’t include VAT. I hope this clears things up, but if you still think it’s wrong please let us know.
