Why have you taken away my ability to change my monthly payment?

Considering my IHD is predicting this months spend to be about £180, I went to reduce my monthly payment (like I have done before) only to find it’s not possible to change it myself anymore.
Will Bulb be automatically reducing my next payment to keep track with my reduced usage?

Why should I pay £70 more than I need to.

I won’t be able to lower your payments any further as your usage is quite high. If you prefer we can change you to a variable direct debit. This means that you will only have to pay for the amount that is on the bill each month via direct debit. Your account will neither be in debit or credit and the tariff will remain the same.
